Palestinian Terrorist Group, Fatah, Kills President Trump in a New Video Posted on Facebook

    moku 188 -1

In response to the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem yesterday, and in condemnation of the American recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, Abbas' Fatah Movement posted an animated video on Facebook showing US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu drowning in the ocean. Posted text and a sign in the video declare that "Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine":

The video shows Netanyahu and Trump floating on a raft at sea with Israeli and American flags and a sign saying "US Embassy" in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. Trump is holding a piece of paper on which is written "Jerusalem capital of Israel," while a recording of his statement "and Jerusalem is Israel's capital" is heard. Immediately after his declaration the raft breaks in two, and Trump drowns together with the Israeli flag; Netanyahu jumps into the water and disappears. The embassy sign flips, and the reverse side of it reads: "Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine." A ship flying the UN flag and the flags of a number of countries including Ireland, Turkey, Lebanon, and other Arab states then pulls up to stop by the raft. On the ship an elderly woman wearing a Palestinian flag and a younger woman dressed in black are waving.

Another post also mocked Trump, showing an image of him made of bologna, salami, and a banana - as if to say Trump is "full of baloney" and that he is "bananas." [Official Fatah Facebook page, May 14, 2018] A burning image of Trump was also posted by Fatah:

Gaza blasted by Israeli missiles as airstrikes launched against Hamas terrorists

Israel’s military carried out a series of airstrikes against Hamas targets in northern Gaza on Wednesday in retaliation against “heavy gunfire” from the territory.

Four Hamas military facilities were hit by missiles, according to an Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) spokesperson.

A further three targets, reportedly weapons manufacturing sites, were also struck in the operation.

Israel said it was responding to heavy machine-gun fire from positions in northern Gaza that reportedly hit six homes in Sderot, an Israeli town located less than half a kilometre from the Gaza border.

Footage from Gaza shows one significant blast hit a densely populated residential neigbourhood.

A young Palestinian man boasted to National Public Radio on Tuesday about putting swastikas on incendiary kites and flying them into Israel, saying that "Jews go crazy" when they see it and "we want to burn them."

NPR host Steve Inskeep reported live from the Gaza Strip after a wave of violence on Monday following mass violent demonstrations at the border fence with Israel. He spoke with a 19-year-old Gaza resident, who was holding a homemade white kite.

"This is a kite that's going to go to the Jews," the Palestinian said through a translator.

The incendiary kite, designed to catch fire, was decorated with "writing claiming Jerusalem for Palestinians" and with swastikas, the primary symbol of Nazism.

"Why do you put that on there?" Inskeep asked.

"The Jews go crazy for Hitler when they see it," the Gazan said.

"The Israelis know that people are flying kites with swastikas," Inskeep said. "They know this, and they use it to discredit you, to say this shows you're bad people. What do you think about that?"

"This is actually what we want them to know, that we want to burn them," he replied, according to Inskeep.

Israel and Iran reached the brink of full-scale war Thursday as the Islamic Republic's unprovoked rocket attack on soldiers in the Golan Heights gave way to an unprecedented Israeli counter-strike that targeted nearly all Iranian infrastructure inside Syria.

The Israeli Defense Force said it deployed fighter jets and used missiles to strike a range of targets, including military compounds, intelligence operations and munitions warehouses, a statement read. The strikes were Israel's largest air operation in Syria since the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

“The IDF will not allow the Iranian threat to establish itself in Syria. The Syrian regime will be held accountable for everything happening in its territory,” the press release read. “The IDF is prepared for a wide variety of scenarios.”

The missile launcher responsible for the Iranian rocket strikes was also destroyed, according to the release.

The strikes came in response to Syria-based Iranian forces firing roughly 20 rockets at Israeli front-line military positions in the Golan Heights. Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, an IDF spokesman, called the attack "the most severe attempt" by Iran's Al Quds force to attack the country. It was the first time Iranian forces have attacked Israel from Syria, according to Reuters.

Conricus said four rockets were intercepted and the others fell short of their targets. No injuries or damage was reported.

Some 20 rockets were fired at Israeli military bases by Iranian forces in southern Syria just after midnight on Thursday, with some of the incoming missiles being intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system, the army said, amid sky high tensions on the northern border.

There were no reports of Israeli casualties in the attack. An army spokesperson said damage was caused to Israeli military bases, but that it was “limited.”

The Israeli army said the missile barrage was carried out by members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Forces. This appeared to be the first time that Israel attributed an attack directly to Iran, which generally operates through proxies. The late night rocket barrage was also the largest attack, in terms of the number of rockets fired, in the seven years of the Syrian civil war.

Tehran has repeatedly vowed revenge after the T-4 army base in Syria was struck in an air raid — widely attributed to Israel — on April 9, killing at least seven members of the IRGC, including a senior officer responsible for the group’s drone program.

Immediately following the Iranian attack at 12:10 a.m., Syrian state media reported that Israeli artillery fire targeted a military post near the city of Baath in the Quneitra border region, where Syrian regime forces were stationed.

Approximately an hour and a half later, the Hezbollah-affiliated al-Manar news outlet reported that Syrian army air defenses were responding to an Israeli air strike against a target southwest of Damascus.

Yemen’s Houthis fired a salvo of ballistic missiles at Saudi Arabia’s capital on Wednesday - an attack Saudi authorities said they intercepted in the skies over Riyadh.

The assault took place a day after Saudi Arabia’s top Western ally the United States pulled out of a deal with Iran over its disputed nuclear programme and could signal an uptick in tensions between Riyadh and regional rival Tehran.

The Houthis said the missiles were launched at economic targets in Riyadh, the group’s al-Masirah TV reported. At least four blasts were heard in the city centre, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

The Houthis have fired a series of missiles into the kingdom in recent months, part of a three-year-old conflict in Yemen widely seen as a proxy battle between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Colonel Turki al-Malki, spokesman for the U.S.-backed Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen, said in a statement that Saudi air defences had intercepted one missile, with another falling in an uninhabited desert south of the city.

A spokesman for the Houthi-aligned military Colonel Aziz Rashed told al-Masirah that the attack marked “a new phase” and was revenge for Saudi air strikes on Yemen after a coalition air strike last month killed the Houthis’ top civilian leader.

“There will be more salvos until this enemy is deterred, understands the meaning of the Yemeni threat and ceases its crimes,” Rashed said.

The furious demonstration in the Iranian parliament reflected broad public anger in the country after Mr. Trump called the deal a “horrible, one-sided deal that should have never, ever been made.”
