Patrick Beverley has made a nice NBA living as a pesky defender, often among the league leaders in steals. But on Wednesday, it was his mom who stole headlines -- and snagged a huge prize -- on The Price is Right.
Lisa Beverley, wearing an "NBA mom" shirt with the logo of her son's L.A. Clippers (Aww), got the coveted "Come on down!" call on the iconic gameshow, and she certainly made the most of it. After getting up on stage with host Drew Carey, Lisa won a car in "Let 'em Roll," but she wasn't nearly done. A miraculous $1.00 spin earned her a spot in the "Showcase Showdown" -- judging by her fellow contestant's reaction, she nearly killed him -- where she won the day's biggest prize.
In this special collaboration with folkloreAmericana, Jesse Lee Peterson hits inner city Los Angeles and Hollywood's Walk of Fame to ask people on the streets: "Do you love white people? Do you love Donald Trump?" You don't want to miss their responses! Tune in for this "Man on the Street"-style special!
